ON THE SPECTRUM?

I am sure you’ve noticed by know that some behaviors, emotions, attitudes, and sensitivities in yourself or someone you know are atypical, i.e., different in some noticeable way from what is more common among human beings. Planet-wide, about 80% of the human population is neurotypical (i.e., with a typical brain configuration), while about 20% are neurodivergent (i.e., with a less typical brain configuration). That 20% is on what is called “the [autism] spectrum.” You didn’t know this, did you? You may also not know that there is absolutely nothing wrong, mental health-wise, about the vast majority of neurotypicals or neurodivergents. In other words, being neurodivergent doesn’t make you “mentally ill.” It just makes you differently configured, neurologically. Just like a Chromebook vs. a gaming laptop. Visit my specialized website, https://www.ndivs.org to find out more about neurodivergence.
